Mission Statement
The mission of THE ARTS gallery is to serve as a center for aesthetic exploration through the creative process of fine arts faculty and students, professional artists, and arts organizations. By presenting quality, interdisciplinary art exhibitions and events THE ARTS gallery enhances an understanding of the arts within the college and the community and enriches individual lives.

Fall through Spring Semesters:
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Summer Sessions:
Monday - Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The gallery is open only during exhibitions and special events and closed when the campus is closed. Please check our calendar and the campus calendar for dates.

  • From Central Expressway (US 75) exit Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Go east on Spring Creek Parkway. If you are coming from the south (Dallas) turn right or from the north (McKinney) turn left.
  • Take Spring Creek Parkway to Jupiter (second light). Plano Centre is on the southwest corner. Turn right onto Jupiter.
  • Go past the Oak Park Athletic Center. Turn at the second left (between the Little League baseball field and the apartments).
  • Go straight until you see the tennis courts. Turn right at the tennis courts.
  • The building you see directly in front of you is the visual arts wing. There are metal sculptures in the yard. Go in the door by the sculpture yard and walk down the hall, through the double doors. The gallery is on the right, room A175.

THE ARTS gallery accepts submissions by artists and organizations year round. We generally book about six months to one year in advance. For more information, please review our submission requirements below.
Submission packets should consist of the following:
  • Ten to twenty slides or hi-res jpegs (300 dpi and minimum 800 x 800 pixels on CD) of your artwork. Please select only your best work for submission. All images must be clearly identified, with the following information: name of artist, title of piece, media, dimensions, date of production and phone number.
  • Resumé including education, exhibition history, contact information, collectors of your work, and awards.
  • Artist's statement and Bio.
  • Copies of press clippings and reviews.
  • Self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your materials (if required).
