ADMISSIONS POLICY
AND REQUIREMENTS

Collin County Community College operates with an
"open door" admissions policy. Students 18 years of age or older with a high
school diploma or equivalent (GED) are eligible for admission. Other students
may be admitted under
special
admissions requirements.
Collin reserves the right to guide
the placement of students, which may include assessments, interviews, and a
review of past academic performance. Collin also reserves the right to hold
registration for students who have not completed admissions requirements and/or
prerequisites.
The Admissions and Records Office (ARO) presents this information as a guide to
help you meet your individual needs and it is subject to change without notice.

time to inform the applicant of an incomplete application. It is the
responsibility of the applicant to insure that all required documentation is on
file in the Admissions and Records Office.
Successful submission of your application via the web will result in an
automatic reply to the email account listed on your application. Please set
your email preferences to accept our correspondence. After your application is
processed, you will receive a follow-up email that contains your admissions
status, PIN/password, and registration instructions. This can take from 48-72
hours. Please be patient and we will process the application as quickly as
possible. In the event that
a confirmation is not received, please contact: 972.548.6710.
During peak registration times (August, January and May) your
