Auditing a Class

Students must meet all admission and registration requirements in order to audit.

Registration to audit a course is permitted as long as a credit student is not displaced from a class as a result of the audit. Therefore, requests to audit are processed during on-site registration and the add/drop period only.

Students who register prior to on-site registration on a credit basis may not change to audit status. Audit students are subject to the usual registration process. A special nonrefundable fee ($25) is assessed in addition to regular tuition.

Special admission students are not permitted to audit.

Business and Computer Science classes, Cisco or Microsoft classes, sign language and foreign language classes may not be audited.  Students wanting to take any of these classes as non-credit should check for availability under the Continuing Education schedule of classes.
