Betty
Siber has taught art history, art appreciation and selected topics
courses on a college level for over 19 years. Betty received a B.F.A. in
fibers and her M.A. in Art History from the University of North Texas. In
the CCCCD art department she led the International Art Studies
program to Italy in 1998, offered the first honors courses, Learning
Communities, and online courses in
art, and served as the Visual Arts Chair from 1997-1999. She currently
coordinates the art history classes. She brings the combination of studio
and academic approaches to her classes with multi-media teaching methods
as well as extensive travel experiences. Betty's artwork consists of
sculptural fiber and three-dimensional mixed-media pieces. |
