Christa Diepenbrock Ziman, MFA will be teaching Drawing II at the Spring Creek campus and Design I at the Central Park Campus. She received her Bachelors of Art at Hunter College in New York City in studio art. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree at Texas Women's University in painting.
Her work consists of small personal hand-made collage studies and life size paintings that explore the complex emotions surrounding lovers kept silent by their home's walls. Her collages are a combination of craft papers, fabric and hand drawn figures. The large paintings abstract the figured human by combining fabric and oil.
Her work has been exhibited at Local Color Gallery, Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas, Texas and MainSite Gallery in Norman, Oklahoma, as well as in various New York Galleries, such as Feral Gallery and Stephen Gang Gallery. Her work was also be included in a group show in North Germany in December 2008.

Drawing II Syllabus
Christa is currently showing Inverted Space, a collection of recent figurative collages. The exhibition is hosted by the Visual Arts League of Allen (VALA) at the Blue House Gallery in Allen.
