The women's basketball team began during the 1993-94 season and competes as a member of the NJCAA Division I and the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference. The Lady Cougar basketball team plays one of the most competitive conference and non-conference schedules in the nation. Located at Spring Creek Campus in Plano, the gymnasium is viewed as one of the premier junior college basketball facilities in Texas.
