Jeff Allen,
Head Women's Basketball Coach
Coach Allen begins his 6th season as the
head coach of the Lady Cougars. Last season the Lady Cougars
finished 20-12 and 11-5 in conference (tied for 2nd). The 2008-09
season was another record breaking year, for the first time in school
history the Lady Cougars made it to the regional semi finals.
A native of Le Grand, Iowa Coach Allen
played two years for Mike Marquis at Marshalltown Community College then
earned a basketball scholarship to play for Rudy Washington at Drake
University. During his senior year he was the Bulldogs leading scorer.
Observing Drake’s 100th year of intercollegiate basketball Allen was
voted to the All-Decade Team for the 90’s.
Coach Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in psychology from Drake University in 1995 and completed a
Master’s of Science in Kinesiology at Texas A&M Commerce in 2003. He is
a full-time faculty member in the Physical Education department at Collin.
Jeff and his wife Kim have two sons, Zachary and Luke, and live in
Allen.

Charise Billingsley, Women's Asst. Basketball Coach
Charise Billingsley
is entering her second season as assistant coach for Collin County
College women’s program. A native of Waco, Texas, Billingsley played at
McLennan Community College where she was a First Team All-NTC, First
Team All-Region, and NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American during her
sophomore year. She played one season at the University of Arkansas
Little Rock where she set a school record for the highest free-throw
percentage in school history. She finished her playing career at
Tarleton State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in
Exercise Sports Studies.

Asst. Basketball
Coach
Coach Carter returns for a third
year to Collin
County having previously served under Coach Allen as a Student Assistant
during the 2003-2004 Season, where he assisted Coach Allen in leading
the cougars to a record of 14-14 and 8-6 in conference play. Prior to
returning to Collin Coach Carter was the head Student Assistant for head
coach Johnny Jones at the University of North Texas that included the
2007 Sun Belt Conference Championship. A graduate of North Texas Coach
Carter will assist with day-to-day operations as well as, on-the-court
instruction, recruiting and film exchange. Coach Carter, and his wife
Jeremy, live in Frisco with their dog Duke.
