The Collin Foundation
The
Collin Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit charitable corporation chartered by
the Collin Board of Trustees on September 28, 1987.
Its
primary purpose is to seek support from the private sector - individuals,
corporations, and foundations - to enhance the quality of education at Collin,
expand educational opportunities, and enrich the learning experience for
Collin
students.
As
a Texas not-for-profit corporation, the Collin Foundation is legally and
fiscally independent of the college. However, the sole rationale for the
Foundation's existence is to advance the college towards its goals of
excellence.
