Collin College's Alternative Teacher Certification Program was one of only 10 in the nation to receive a Teaching By Choice Award from the American Association of Community Colleges. Premier Institution
Collin College was named a model institute by Moody's Investor Service, and was awarded a $887,146 skills development grant from the Texas Workforce Commission and granted participation in a $2.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
