    Black Student Association (BSA)
    The purpose of the Black Student Association is:

        1) To develop and encourage college spirit among Black students.
        2) To promote high academic standards among Black students.
        3) To enhance and improve the cultural and social life of Black students on campus.
        4) To promote interracial harmony among all students on and off campus.
        5) To serve as a medium between Black students, administrators, staff and faculty on and off
            campus.
        6) To find and implement ways to assist the economic and social development of the Black
            community, such as tutoring, mentoring, and other volunteer work.
        7) Health and sexual awareness among Black students.

    MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS


    Membership is open to all Collin students who are interested in the enhancement and advancement of people of color.  A member must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and be currently enrolled in at least three (3) credit hours.
