    Collin Democrats
    The purpose of Collin Democrats is to explore and discuss public policy issues related to all levels of government (Local, State and Federal) and to reach Collin students, voters and other local and political groups about Democratic policies through dialogue, debate and fellowship. Collin Democrats main objectives include:
        1) Educate Collin Students and Faculty on public policies relevant to Democrats and
            encourage scholarly discussion and debate on such issues.
        2) Work with local Democratic candidates and local groups  on reaching out to Collin
            County voters on important issues and races in local, state and federal elections.

    MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

    There are two types of memberships:

        1) Member of Record, a Collin student enrolled in at least three (3) credit hours each fall
            and spring semester and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA - if GPA falls below 2.0, that
            Member will no longer be an active member as well as lose voting privileges.
        2) General Member, a person not enrolled as a student who must be voted in by a majority
            of active voting members before membership and voting privileges are given.
