1) To represent the needs and interests of the student body through the Student Senate,
Forums and special meetings.
2) To proactively effect change in the best interest of the student body.
3) To address issues affecting members of the student body.
4) To build a vital, thriving college community.
5) To promote all student rights.
6) To provide input to college policy decisions.
7) To further the cultural, social and physical growth of the student body.
8) To recognize outstanding achievement by students and organizations.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
* General Membership is open to all Collin students enrolled in credit courses
* Members who are not enrolled at the time of the fall or spring census dates, will cease to be
SGA General Members. Should a student re-enroll, they will once again become a SGA
member.
* Only general members who have been enrolled for at least three months shall be eligible to
stand for election as an officer or senator.
