Oil Acrylic
Traditional Oils: Grumbacher Academy or Winton (Winsor Newton)

Water Mixable Oils: Grumbacher Max or Artisan (Winsor Newton)

  • Titanium white
  • Ivory black
  • Cadmium yellow pale hue
  • Raw sienna
  • Alizarin crimson
  • Cadmium red light hue

  • Odorless paint thinner: Turpenoid Natural or Weber Odorless Turpentine (needed regardless of paint used)
  • 2 oz. jar of Max Quickdry or Artisan (Winsor Newton) water mixable oil medium
  • Paper palette, 12" x 16"
  • Canvas tablet, 12" x 16"
  • One palette or painting knife, 2" blade, with offset blade
  • One pastel pencil, medium gray
  • Note pad and pencil or pen
  • One large plastic trash bag for work area
  • One roll paper towels
  • Two small glass jars with screw on lid
  • One roll wax paper
Other Supplies
  • Matte medium, 2 oz. jar
  • Plastic palette knife, with offset blade
  • Paper palette, as" x 16"
  • Canvas tablet, 12" x 16"
  • One pastel pencil, medium gray
  • One large plastic trash bag (for work area)
  • One roll paper towels
  • One plastic water container (suggest bottom half of milk jug or whipped topping bowl)
  • One glass jar with screw lid, approx. 4 oz.
  • One spritzer bottle
  • Small note pad and pencil or pen
  • One roll wax paper

PLEASE HAVE ALL BASIC SUPPLIES FOR FIRST CLASS SESSION!
Both traditional and new supplies and techniques will be discussed.
