This course will provide you with the basic information needed to understand and navigate through the UNIX operating system. Topics include an historical overview of UNIX, basic operations, simple commands and filters, files and directories, file types and ownership, simple shell scripting, networking commands and advanced commands. This is a hands-on course using the Linux Operating System.
