Collin College's Dance Department has earned a strong reputation for excellence in dance education, choreography and performance, and has served as the foundation for propelling students into prestigious university dance programs.

Class instruction focuses on movement fundamentals, technique, performance and choreography. The dance curriculum provides a comprehensive approach to learning dance by integrating the aesthetics, historical, critical, cultural and fundamental aspects of dance as an art form.
The Dance Program offers numerous guest artists master classes, special workshops and free dance seminars. Recent guest artists included Pilobous II, The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, Elledanceworks Dance Company, BattleWorks Dance Company and Janice Garrett and Dancers.
