I'm new to Modern Dance. What should I wear?

In the initial stages of training, we ask that you not wear clothing that restricts movement. You should wear breathable clothing that is snug to the body so the instructor can provide feedback about safe alignment of the body. Modern dance is performed BAREFOOT. At levels III and IV, it is expected for the dancer to come to every class in dark colored leotard and tights, preferably all black.
