Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians’ EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) exam. Students who successfully complete the exam may then apply for certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services. This certification is required for EMTs and paramedics to work in the state.
