| Dear Prospective Student, Thank you for your interest in the Paramedic training program at Collin County Community College. The program combines state-of-the-art equipment with knowledgeable and streetwise instructors to provide a broad knowledge base for effective Emergency Medical Services. This ensures that the student will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to perform in a variety of emergency situations once his or her education is complete. EMS training at the Paramedic level is not for everyone. It requires dedication, discipline, physical and mental fitness. Potential EMS workers should be aware that they will be charged with the responsibility of saving the lives of critically ill or injured patients. Therefore, students in the program are held to very high standards. The following course information is being provided to you to help you in your decision.
