How do I develop Articulation Agreements with Collin College and my ISD?

What if I want to change my Articulation Agreement?

If you want to add a course to your Articulation Agreement, you can download the REQUEST FOR ARTICULATION form here.

If they need to delete a program, you can download the MODIFICATIONS TO ARTICULATION AGREEMENT form here.

 

Why do I have to submit my credentials to the college?

This is to satisfy the college's accreditation agency, SACS, to show that the teachers are meeting the same standards required by the college in order to teach a college-level course for credit. Department chairmen and deans certify that the teacher meets the standards needed to teach that course.

Do I have a Tech Prep contact person at my school?

Yes, there are Tech Prep Team Leaders at each school in the Global EDGE consortium. Click here for the list of Tech Prep Team Leaders.

 

What are the Tech Prep programs at my school?

There are several Tech Prep programs available for Tech Prep students. All programs are not available at each school district and may vary from district to district.

Here is a list of courses that are needed for each program. Click on the program name link to a six-year plan for that program.

 

Is there anyone I can contact for specific information in my subject area?

Yes, there are several avenues for communication. For questions regarding articulation, student registration, or guest speakers, contact the Global EDGE office at 972-548-6723.
