We are excited to
tell you about Collin College's upcoming new performance and
applicant tracking headquarters, known as
PATH. As a
potential applicant, PATH will be
your one stop shop for viewing and applying for open positions at
the college. PATH will replace our
current applicant tracking system effective June 4, 2007.
If you currently
have an application on file or choose to create an application prior
to June 4, 2007, you will also need to create a new application on
PATH effective June 4, 2007.
Additionally, you will be required to re-apply for any positions to
which you have previously applied and are re-posted on the
new system effective June 4, 2007. This means that you will need to
create an application in
PATH and
link the application to the open position.
For additional
information, see the questions and answers listed below. If you
have additional questions, contact Human Resources at (972)
985-3783. We will be happy to assist you during this transition!
Questions and Answers
-
Will I have access to the application
that I completed on the current system?
-
If you have an application on file in
our current system or create one before June 4, 2007, you may find
it helpful to print a copy of your application for reference if you
decide to apply for new open positions on
PATH. After, June 4th, you will not be able to
access your Collin College application or any other information
previously maintained through the current system.
Will I have to re-apply on
PATH
if I have already applied for a
position on the current system?
-
Yes, if you applied for a position on
the current system that remains open and is re-posted, you must
reapply on
PATH. This means
creating a new application in
PATH
and linking it to an open position.
I applied for a position prior to
PATH
and it is no longer on-line.
Am I still being considered?
-
If you have previously created an
application and applied for a position prior to June 4, 2007, and no
longer see it posted as an open position on
PATH, either the position has been filled or it is closed to
new applicants. In the latter case, applicants from the prior
system will be considered as the applicant pool for that position,
and you do not need to re-apply for that position.
How will I access employment
opportunities at Collin County Community College?
-
There are several ways to get on the
PATH! Simply go to Collin College’s
website located at
http://www.ccccd.edu/, and select “Jobs” from the Quick Links.
You may also go to Collin College’s Human Resources website at
http://iws2.ccccd.edu/hr/, and select “Employment
Opportunities”. Either of these methods will get you on the
PATH located at
http://jobs.ccccd.edu. Once there, search postings. Please update any applicable bookmarks.
See you on the
PATH!
