Joanne Stevens

I never imagined that volunteering to be a docent at the Dallas Museum of Art would open so many doors to such exciting experiences. The docent training at the DMA caused me to want to learn more. This in turn led to the excitement of additional graduate education at the University of Texas at Dallas. The courses I took thee ultimately resulted in a PhD in Humanities. That degree gave me the opportunity to teach Humanities at Collin County Community College , one of the great experiences of my life.
