Patricia Madigan

As most of my students will tell you, I'm not the easiest teacher in the world, but my enthusiasm for the material and teaching are evident. I approach HUMA1301 as a survey class, so it moves at a furious pace. I envision this course as a history of ideas and how those ideas (events, etc.) influenced and shaped the creative output during the artist's, writer's, composer's, etc. time.

About me – I have taught for over 35 years. My degrees include a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, Ph.D. (abd) in Humanities, and a Master of Business Administration. I write the program notes for the Plano Symphony Orchestra, I am a Member of the Cultural Affairs Commission for the City of Plano , and I am President of MandM Solutions (a business and training consulting company).
