Rick Fender

Mr. Fender was born in Sacramento, CA. 1962. His father was a native Texan and his mother an Italian whose parents were from Naples. He moved to Texas at the age of four and grew up in the Austin area. Rick picked up drawing at a young age and carried his skills as an artist into his former education and career. He was given his first guitar at the age of 10 and has been playing for 33 years.

His undergraduate work was completed at UT Dallas and after receiving a bachelor in visual arts, he moved to Denton Texas and completed work for a Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas. For over twenty years, Rick has worked professionally in computer and electronic music composing, film and video production, communications and design, music performance and digital production and fine and performance arts.
