Sean Mullins

My approach to the course is to divide it into components involving art and architecture (1/2 the semester), classical music (1/3 the semester), and cinema (1/6 the semester). The art and architecture component consists of prehistoric cultures, ancient civilizations, Gothic architecture, and the most famous of the individual artists. We then cover music history from medieval through minimalism. The end of the semester deals with film as an art form, with special attention to the silent era.

My degrees are in art, and I am a film buff and former classical music DJ. I have traveled extensively. I am in my element here.
