The idea of gargantuan rocks hurtling through space and gaining in speed, density and aerodynamic properties until they finally smash into the ground, instead of burning up in the earth’s atmosphere, but it might also be a reality you face in your lifetime. Who is cataloging the asteroids circling earth? Collin College students and physics professors and their counterparts throughout the world.

Offered through the Business Information and Engineering Technology division, the International Business degree was first offered in fall 2008 and totals 61 credit hours.  An International Business certificate is also offered. The degree includes courses such as, International Marketing Management, "Principles of Import", "Principles of Export", "Introduction to International Business and Trade", and more.

Natalie Creel, Miranda Johnson, and Illir Brovina are some of the many students participating in service learning classes at Collin College.  By incorporating service-learning into the classroom, Collin College is creating opportunities for students to great broaden their educational experience.

Vicki Evans and her employees don't sport capes, but The Red Cape Company or RedCape, is ready to save the day when their clients face the challenges of working in a gadget-centric, technologically-advanced world. Evans is living her dream, working with professionals and growing her business, in part because of help she received from the Collin Small Business Development Center.
