    Space Exploration at Collin College

    The idea of gargantuan rocks hurtling through space and gaining in speed, density and aerodynamic properties until they finally smash into the ground, instead of burning up in the earth’s atmosphere, but it might also be a reality you face in your lifetime. Who is cataloging the asteroids circling earth? Collin College students and physics professors and their counterparts throughout the world.

    International Business Degree
    Gloria Cockerell, Collin College chair and professor of business management and marketing, and Abby Kutschke, a Collin College sophomore, are both excited to be a part of Collin College's International Business degree first offered in fall 2008.

    Offered through the Business Information and Engineering Technology division, the International Business degree was first offered in fall 2008 and totals 61 credit hours.  An International Business certificate is also offered. The degree includes courses such as, International Marketing Management, "Principles of Import", "Principles of Export", "Introduction to International Business and Trade", and more.

    Collin College student, Illir Brovina chats with ladies from Kingsley Place Assisted Living at Stone Bridge Ranch where he volunteers as a part of his psychology service-learning class.

    Natalie Creel, Miranda Johnson, and Illir Brovina are some of the many students participating in service learning classes at Collin College.  By incorporating service-learning into the classroom, Collin College is creating opportunities for students to great broaden their educational experience.
