16 weeks, but it may be completed sooner

How do I register for the Course?

Contact the college to register for both the online didactic and clinical preceptorship.

Who signs my BNE course completion verification form?

The BNE course completion form must be signed by an RN.

The RN can be the Instructor and/or the Coordinator at your college.

Students must register for one of the scheduled section start dates.

New course selections are added as needed.

Is the Re-Entry nursing course eligible for CNE credit?

No, the Re-Entry nursing course is a review of basic medical-surgical nursing and therefore does not meet the criteria for continuing nursing education.

Can you register for the didactic portion of the course only?

Yes, as long as a student does not need the clinical preceptorship to meet the Board of Nursing or an employer’s requirements for completion of a nursing refresher class.  You must inform the Program Site Coordinator for special permission to enroll in the didactic portion only, prior to enrolling in courses.
