The Plain and Fancy Ball Returns...Texas Style!

Last year, Collin County Community College District (Collin) premiered the Plain and Fancy Ball, an evening of reliving favorite pastimes ranging from the glitz and glamour of ballroom dancing to the nostalgic radio shows of the fifties.
The Plain and Fancy Ball, which raised $150,000 for student scholarships, replaced the college's signature fundraising event, An Evening of MONOPOLY© . Through corporate and private gifts, the county's generosity raised more than half a million dollars and assisted nearly 800 students in that event's successful four-year run.
This year, you won't want to miss the spectacular Plain and Fancy Ball. Hosted by Collin County Community College District and the CCCCD Foundation, Inc., your participation at this event benefits Collin student scholarships and academic excellence.
But what will you wear? The dress code rules are simple: Let your imagination go to work as you design your own distinctive fashionable ensemble that combines clothing from both comfortable, casual wear (plain) with sophisticated, elegant evening wear (fancy). Or you can bring the fairytale to life by sporting "After 5" wear from head to toe. And don't forget to include the Texas flair!
Please help make this event an evening to remember. The following pages detail how your organization can become a sponsor and how to achieve the "plain and fancy" look.
