Respiratory Care Student Club has been chosen as the "Outstanding New Student Organization" of 2007-2008.

RCP students participated in the 2008 Asthma Walk in Dallas.

Accreditation: Collin College Respiratory Care program has been granted a 10-year continuing accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Innovations in Respiratory Care: The Texas Society for Respiratory Care (TSRC) and Collin College are Co-sponsoring the annual Respiratory Care Symposium April 18 at the Preston Ridge Event Center. For more information visit www.tsrc.org.

Student activity: Collin College students are participating at the American Lung Association's 5K "Asthma Walk" April 12 at Victory Park in Dallas. The team name is "Collin College Aerosolizers."
