WHAT IS SAIL?
 

SAIL is an educational program operated by and for individuals 55 years of age or better under the sponsorship of Collin College Continuing Education. SAIL is affiliated with Elderhostel Institute Network as a Lifelong Learning Institute, one of more than 250 similar programs nationwide. SAIL offers classes in the spring and fall semesters, a lecture series and discussion groups during the summer, and social activities throughout the year. Anyone who is 55 years of age or older can join, regardless of residence.

 
WHERE AND WHEN ARE CLASSES HELD?
 

SAIL offers a wide variety of courses in subjects such as history, literature, current events, art appreciation and health. Classes are held at the Collin College Courtyard Center campus, 4800 Preston Park Blvd., in Plano. Classes meet during the week between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Parking is convenient, close to the classrooms, and much of it is covered. No college degree is required to attend SAIL classes, just a desire to learn.

 
WHAT IS THE COST?
 

Members pay an annual $25 membership fee. Fall and spring tuition is $75 each semester, entitling members to enroll in as many SAIL classes as they choose.
