ABOUT THE SAIL ORGANIZATION
|
|
SAIL is a unique educational program organized and operated by seniors. It was created in 1996 and has continued to grow and flourish through the efforts of a host of volunteers, past and present. SAIL is managed by a Board of Directors whose members serve for two years. The Board appoints committees to do the work of the organization -- developing courses, maintaining records, publishing catalogs and newsletters and planning extracurricular activities. The purpose of SAIL is to encourage lifelong learning and to provide members with common interests, the opportunity to participate in study, discussion and social interaction. |
