If you have no small business experience, we strongly recommend that you attend the How to Start a Small Business class before you are scheduled to meet with one of our counselors. If you have previous small business experience, contact our office to schedule an appointment.
For information regarding the How to Start class or to schedule an appointment with a consultant, you may contact our office at 972.985.3770 or gdaniel@ccccd.edu.
Once you have contacted our office, typically we will schedule you with a consultant within 5-7 business days.
Our certified consultants have access to a wide range of
information to provide assistance and help you make strategic business
decisions. Each consultant has a different background and experience in
business, with knowledge of specific areas and aspects of business. When
scheduling an appointment, we suggest meeting with a counselor based on their
experience and area of expertise, relative to your needs. Visit our

Materials, services or products offered by providers to SBDC clients are available as a resource for you to locate professionals who can assist you with business concerns. Making these sources available to you does not imply or constitute a recommendation or endorsement by the SBDC, but is only intended to be a convenience for you. You must perform your “due diligence” by interviewing the individuals or companies to determine if they meet your needs. If you do retain their services, be sure to obtain your agreement in writing: who is responsible for what; what work is to be performed; what is not included; what is the cost.
