What is SMART?
Endowed by Texas
Instruments, the Science, Math, Advanced Research and Technology (SMART) initiative provides scholarships to Collin County Community College District (Collin College) for selected high school and college students interested in science, math, engineering or technology careers.

UT Dallas PARTNERSHIP
SMART is aimed at students who intend to transfer to UT Dallas to complete an undergraduate degree in an engineering or engineering-related field. The course credits earned at Collin College will, however, transfer to a number of Texas universities. College students applying for SMART funds must also participate in Collin College's Dual Admission program with UT Dallas.
