Lost and Found
Student Life is the lost and found headquarters at Central Park Campus (CPC), Preston Ridge Campus (PRC), and SCC. Lost and
found is located in room A185 at the Courtyard Center. At CCCCD@Allen, the staff
coordinate lost and found for that site. Lost and found items will be held a
minimum of one month.
College ID Cards
All credit students at Collin College are required to have a College ID Card to use services
provided by college offices and labs including the Collin College Bookstore, Career Services,
Computer Labs, Enrollment Management, Fitness Center, Library, Math Lab, Student
Life, and the Testing Center. ID cards are made by Student Life.
First-time students are assessed a College ID Fee with their tuition. Once the student has registered and paid for their courses, the ID card will be issued in accordance with the dates posted in the Calendar section of the Collin College Schedule of Classes. Students must present valid picture ID before a College ID card will be issued. The ID card will be valid district-wide throughout the student’s enrollment at the college. College ID cards will be automatically reactivated each semester after the student enrolls in courses and pays the corresponding tuition and fees.
For a fee, a replacement ID card will be reissued for students whose card has been lost, stolen or damaged, who have had a name change, or who would prefer a new photo. Only currently enrolled students may request a replacement ID card. Contact Student Life for more information.
Faculty ID Cards
College ID cards are available for all Collin College employees. These cards allow employees
to utilize many of the district's facilities and services including check
cashing privileges in the Collin College Bookstore, Fitness Center, and Library (LRC).
Student Life manages the College ID Card process. Faculty and Staff must show a picture ID such as a Drivers License, in order to have a College ID card issued.
Full-time Employees: A College ID card may be issued after the employee has received his/her first payroll check. The Human Resource System (HRS) first recognizes a new employee after he/she has been paid and shows a current, active assignment.
Part-time Employees: A College ID card may be issued after the employee has received his/her first payroll check. A part-time faculty member who is employed on a semester basis will be able to use the College ID card following the first payroll of each assignment. The Human Resource System (HRS) recognizes employees only when they show a current, active assignment.
The first College ID card is free, but replacement cards are $2 each. All employees, no matter what their status, will receive an ID card that reads Faculty. If an individual is both an employee and a student, he/she will only be able to receive an ID card, since an employee status is higher than a student status.
