Recruitment and Programs for New Students
Alicia Huppe earned a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas A & M in 1997. Before coming to Collin County Community College, Alicia worked for over three years in Financial Aid & Scholarships at the University of North Texas. Alicia is in her third year of the Ph.D. program at the University of North Texas in Higher Education.
Laura Eshelman earned a bachelors of science in interior design from Kansas State University in May 2006. Upon graduation she moved to Dallas to take a job with a large international interior architecture firm. After 18 months in the field, she realized her love for the college campus and students and joined the recruitment staff at Collin College.
Carl Darnell earned a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2006 from the Tennessee State University located in Nashville, TN - Music City, USA. Mr. Darnell worked at IBM in Rochester, MN, and served with the Center for Service Learning at Tennessee State University before coming to Collin College.
Kirk Lee earned a Master of Arts degree in Student Personnel Services with an Emphasis in Counseling from Northwestern State University in 2003 and a Bachelor of General Studies with an Emphasis in Humanities in 2001. He has an array of Student Affairs experience that includes Student Activities, Greek Life & Leadership, and Residence Life. He has also worked with gifted and talented high school students.
Shannon Mott earned an Associates of Arts from Collin and Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University in 2000. She also earned a Master's of Science from Amberton University in 2003. Shannon has held various positions at the 2-year and 4-year level in the areas of recruitment, student life, advising and admissions.
Marcy Wilson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Diversified Liberal Arts/Education from the University of San Diego and a Master of Arts degree in Education from San Diego State University. Prior to coming to Collin, she worked at several other colleges in positions to include Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Coordinator of Orientation and Retention, and Coordinator Of Teacher Education programs.
Celeste Harden earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1994 from the University of Texas at Dallas. She also earned an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Business Administration from Collin County Community College in 1993. Celeste started working at CCCC as a student assistant in the Testing Center. While attending UTD, she worked with the Admissions and Records office. She has been working full-time at Collin County Community College since 1996.
