Veterans Benefits - What To Do If You've Had a Break in Education

Students who have previously received benefits, but have had a break of more than two regular (16-week) semesters or attended another institution, must

• submit additional documentation to the VA Advisor

No certification can be made without such documentation being on file. Students who register and have previously been certified with no breaks in their enrollment are assumed to be pursuing the same degree plan, unless a notification, in writing, has been received.
